The YFS is constantly listening to feedback and working to provide relevant and important services to YFS Ratified student clubs.

Some of the services provided by the YFS include: 


Club Funding
All YFS Ratified Clubs can apply for a maximum of 0 per event and they are also eligible for a guaranteed 0 in Base Funding. For Event Funding, please fill out the YFS Club Funding Form. For Base Funding, please fill out the online form. 


Free Photocopying
All YFS Ratified Clubs receive free photocopying available at the YFS Office, 336 Student Centre. After which, clubs receive free photocopying provided that paper is provided.
For large print jobs, please bring your copies in advance. 


Free Club Website
All YFS Ratified Clubs are available to take advantage of a free website hosted on the YFS server. Student clubs can also take advantage of the simplified website creator that does not require any html knowledge. For more information please email vpoperations@yfs.ca


Usage of Popcorn Machine
All YFS Ratified Clubs are able to use the YFS Popcorn Machine for any events that they are hosting. Popcorn is provided as well. To reserve the popcorn machine, please email vpoperations@yfs.ca


Free Mailboxes
All YFS Ratified Clubs who do not have office space on the Keele campus of York University are eligible to use a mailbox at the YFS Office. To request a mailbox, please email vpoperations@yfs.ca


Help with Opening a Bank Account
All clubs require a bank account in the name of the club, of which the signing authorities change every year. To request a bank letter to open a new account or change signing authority please fill out the online Bank Letter Request Form. 


Liability Insurance
Some events held by student clubs at York University are not covered by the York University Insurance Policy. If your event requires additional liability insurance, the YFS will be able to provide you with the required Million insurance (there are some exceptions).
