Creating Safe(r) Spaces

YFS Community Service Groups

Trans, Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Asexual at York is a student-run service, funded by the York Federation of Students to offer resources and support for the LGBTQ+/queer, trans and asexual community in and around York University.

We campaign for better conditions for queer students at YorkU, host a drop-in space, run events for the queer community on campus, and provide a free library and gender-affirming items. Join us at our drop-in space from 10am-4pm every weekday!

We unite and organize the various South Asian student clubs/organizations and individuals on campus and represent South Asian students’ interests at York University.

USAY aims to work within an anti-oppressive framework providing a ground for cultural identity discourses that relate to a South Asian diasporic experience. Check out our social media to stay connected with us!
