Join us as we celebrate the vibrant cultures on our campuses and worldwide, through the exchange and showcase of food, fashion, music, and tradition.

Club Information
Mandatory CultureFest Meeting
Following submissions for CultureFest, we will have a mandatory CultureFest meeting for all participating clubs on Friday January 12th, 2024 at 12 pm in the First Student Centre, Room 313. At least one club representative from each participating club needs to be present to ensure we have you signed up for all the events and to go over all the guidelines.
Important Deadlines
All waivers, copies of student IDs, USBs, and artwork are to be submitted in person at the YFS Office, Room 336, First Student Centre.
Thursday January 11th, 2024: Soccer Registration forms (including all waivers & copies of Student IDs) due. Waivers can be picked up at the YFS Office or downloaded below.
Thursday January 18th, 2024: Panel Discussion Questions due.
Friday January 19th, 2024 by 4pm: Fashion Show Music submission due (MP3 format only on USB).
Friday January 19th, 2024 by 4pm: Cultural Explosion Music submission due (MP3 format only on USB). **Clearly label in an envelope which USB is for Fashion Show and which is for Cultural Explosion.
Monday January 22nd, 2024: The art piece (framed or mounted) due.
Wednesday January 31st, 2024 by 4pm: Donations to Food Support Centre (for the Community Award) due at the YFS Food Support Centre - located in Room 005, Second Student Centre.
Soccer Tournament
There are only a limited number of spots for the Soccer World Cup, so we encourage clubs to pick up and submit the separate registration forms for the Soccer Tournament ASAP from the front desk of the YFS Office. Once we have reached 16 forms, we will no longer accept participation applications — the hard deadline is January 11th, 2024 as mentioned above.
